The Rebbe An Oral History Project
The Early Years Volume Two sheds unprecedented light
on the period following the Rebbe’s marriage in 1928.
Meet the people who knew the Rebbe and the Rebbetzin then, and watch first-person testimony recounting their life at that time. Follow their escape from Nazi-governed Berlin and the quiet lives they lived in Paris. Learn how the Rebbe held down lectures at one of Paris’s most prestigious schools, while setting-out on special assignments for his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe, and writing complex Torah journals which offer early indications of his Torah genius.

The filmmakers have discovered many new documents in European archives, shedding unprecedented light on this
period in the Rebbe’s life. It is the second of the series, documenting the Rebbe's life before coming to America.
